After Islamabad High Court ordered the arrest of Pervez Musharraf, his lawyers promptly reached Supreme Court to file a bail before arrest application. They say that the decision of the High Court Judge is full of bias because no court could refuse a bail in a bailable offence. However, it has been reported that the application could not be submitted today because the official time of the court had ended. Ibrahim Setti the lawyer of Pervez Musharraf said that the bail before arrest application would be submitted tomorrow.

Earlier, after the rejection of bail application, Pervez Musharraf was escorted to his farmhouse in Chak Shehzad. Security has been beefed up around his house.

APML party official Dr. Amjid said that Pervez Musharraf was extremely disappointed with the decision of the court. He said that this unwarranted judicial activism would drive the country into new low. Also, Mr. Ahmad Raza Kasuri told the media infront of the Chak Shehzad farmhouse that Pervez Musharraf had voluntarily submitted to the honourable courts of Pakistan. He said that Pervez Musharraf was called a dictator by different people but still like a true democrat he appeared before courts. This shows his commitment towards the institutions of the country. However, the attitude of the courts is extremely bias towards him, he said.
