PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Jalsa at Islamabad D-Chowk is in full swing right now. Thousands of PTI supporters have gathered in D-Chowk. The number of people attending this rally are said to be more than double than the number of people who attended the demonstration of Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri in the same area. PTI supporters seem quite energized and are emphatically displaying their party’s official flags.

Imran Khan, who got injured after falling from a 20 foot lifter, is also going to address this rally via a video link. People are anxiously waiting to hear their leader deliver his final speech before the election campaign is over at 12:00 AM PST. It is going to be an interesting view when Mr. Khan would deliver his speech from his hospital bed.

Javed Hashmi, the President of PTI, is contesting election from this same Islamabad constituency of NA-48. He is facing a strong contender of Jamaat-e-Islami, Mr. Mian Aslam. It is going to be a tough fight. However, with the last few days’ unprecedented support wave of PTI, the result is most likely going to come in favour of Javed Hashmi. Javed Hashmi is himself quite a revered political personality in Pakistan. The mixture of PTI vote bank and Javed Hashmi’s own standing, is in better position to win NA-48 seat this time.
