In a latest development, PMLN MNA Aijaz Chaudhry, has tendered his resignation from his national assembly seat and announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). “I can confirm that I have tendered my resignation from my national assembly membership”, said Aijaz Chaudhry while talking to journalists.

Aijaz Chaudhry, was elected as an MNA from NA-108 constituency as an independent candidate who then later decided to join PMLN.

According to reports, PMLN authorities remained in contact with Aijaz Chaudhry and tried to convince him to change his decision but he remained firm in his decision.

While addressing a joint news conference with chairman PTI Imran Khan, Mr. Chaudhry said that he tendered his resignation for a bigger national cause. “I honestly tried to work for the people of my constituency but I couldn’t deliver anything due to the current system”, he said.
