BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur voiced his concern over firing across the India Pakistan borders; he said that terrorism and cricket cannot go together.
“Peace on the borders is essential for cricket match between India and Pakistan and no cricket match was possible under the shadow of unprovoked firing and bombardment at the Border,” Anurag Thakur said while talking to the media.
“How can people from both countries enjoy a cricket match when firing and bombardment is continuing at the border? If peace prevails, I myself will go to Pakistan with a ball and bat,” he added while talking about a peaceful environment in both the countries.
