E-Cigarettes are 95% less harmful than tobacco.
According to a study, Electronic Cigarettes are less harmful than tobacco. They should be promoted as it is a good alternative to tobacco smokers. E-cigarettes are prescribed by the NHS to help smokers quit smoking.
“E-cigarettes are not completely risk free but when compared to smoking, evidence shows they carry just a fraction of the harm,” said Professor Kevin Fenton from Public Health England, which carried out the study.
One of the downsides of electronic cigarettes is, it may encourage non-smokers or children to start smoking especially those who use E-cigarettes for fun.
