Just one day after the Kurram attack on JUI-F rally in which more than 20 people had died, today the party’s election campaign was hit again by a deadly bomb blast. About 12 people died in this attack. However, the JUI-F national assembly candidate Mufti Said Janaan whose election caravan was attacked, went unhurt.

The most important thing in these attacks is that TTP(Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) had claimed the responsibility of yesterday’s attack, and hence, it is most likely that today’s attack might have come from the same source. It is interesting to note here that TTP had earlier said that they would not attack JUI-F. The analysts are observing this new development and there are different opinions about the shift in the policy of TTP.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had earlier called PTI(Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) chairman an agent of Jewish and Quadiyani Lobby. Imran Khan had severely criticized Maulana Saab for falsely accusing him of being on a pay role of Jewish Lobby. He had also strongly refuted having any links with Quadiyani faith and had said that he believed in the finality of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH).

However, it looks like the TTP did not buy these accusations of Mr. Fazlur Rehman and instead of directing their guns at Tehreek-e-Insaf, they have infact turned them towards JUI-F. However, the real reason is not known yet.
