Pakistani movie Bin Roye was all set to be released in India alongside ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ on July 17th but the screening was cancelled due to objections by a group called, Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (MNSKS).
Bowing to the demands of MNSKS, Bollywood distributor B4U films decided to ban ‘Bin Roye’ in Maharashtra.
There have been reports that another reason why the release was cancelled in India on the 17th of July was that the makers of the film did not want to release the movie alongside ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’.
Salman Khan starrer Bhajrangi Bhaijaan broke all records and had been a huge success on the box office.
The movie ‘Bin Roye’ is finally set to hit the theaters on the 7th of August in India. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for its success in India as well.
Bin Roye stars big television names of Pakistan such as Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed.
