Honda Civic does it again. The 2016 Honda Civic has been named as the Canadian car of the year by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) at the Canadian Auto Show.

Honda Civic was among the three finalists for this position. The other two finalists were Volkswagen Golf R and the Golf Sportwagon. Volkswagen didn’t couldn’t get car of year position however it didn’t go empty handed as the Golf R named best family car under $50,000.

The Mazda CX-3 was named 2016 Utility car of the year in the same show. The CX-3 beat out the Kia Sorento and Volvo XC90, which were named AJAC’s Best New SUV/CUV under $35,000 and between $35,000 and $60,000 and over $60,000, respectively.

Toyota also took part in the 2016 Canadian International Auto Show however it couldn’t create an impact.
