Upcoming news channel, Bol Network, has taken a second big wicket of Geo News as famous host of “Jawab Deyh” program, Iftihar Ahmad, leaves Geo to join Bol. He has joined Bol Network as a senior executive vice president and senior anchorperson.

Earlier, Geo’s famous anchorperson, Kamran Khan, also quit his years of association with Geo Network and joined Bol.

Iftikhar Ahmad has been an important asset for Geo. He used to run the election cell for Jang Newspaper and later for Geo news and covered different elections. He was considered a strong proponent of Geo/Jang network. His departure from Geo thus, is considered a serious blow to the already faltering empire of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, the owner of Geo/Jang.

Geo used to be the most watched and top rated news channel of Pakistan. However, since its tussle with ISI and later PTI Chief Imran Khan, its rating has seen a continuous down turn.
