Imran Khan has vowed to challenge RO’s decision of rejecting his nomination papers for NA 53. Returning officer rejected his nomination papers citing violation of Section-N of the mandatory affidavit which is related to the developmental work he undertook as a member of parliament.

In addition to Imran Khan the nominations of former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and PTI dissident Aisha Gulali were also rejected citing similar violation of Section-N of the affidavit.

According to the returning officer, they did not fill out that section of the affidavit.

All three have vowed to challenge RO’s decision in the election tribunal tomorrow.
