Jang/Geo owner Mir Shakil ur Rehman used harsh words against an SC judge while responding to a question by a reporter inside Supreme Court premises. “If he [the SC judge] has said what you say he said then this judge said a rubbish thing”, he fumed.

“If I could, I would file a case against this judge”, he further said.

Mir Shakil ur Rehman appeared before court in a contempt of court case today. He unconditionally apologized to the supreme court saying he “respected the apex court”.

However, after coming out of the court the visibly upset owner of powerful media house vented all his anger on an SC judge in front of  reporters.

His brother and lawyers were trying to stop him from giving a statement against judges but he refused to stop.

It remains to be seen whether Supreme Court will take action against the disrespectful outburst of Mir Shakil ur Rehman.
