Can you imagine if that happened in Punjab? The #Punjab Police would have tortured and arrested the victims rather than the attackers. @metline 2/2 pic.twitter.com/x5fGu5bbfH

Since a Pakistani court’s verdict against Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in the corruption case involving their Avenfield flats in London, Pakistanis living in London have been protesting infront of the said flats.
Junaid and his cousin Zakariya entered into a physical fight with one of such protesters today. Zakariya landed many punches on an unidentified man while he had him pushed to the ground.
While the fight was underway, London Police reached on the spot and saved the young man from Junaid and Zakariya. The man’s head started bleeding due to the impact he was placed on the ground.
While Junaid Safdar is taken away, people jeer at him saying “it’s not Punjab police”.
A handcuffed Junaid can be heard saying it won’t take him more than two days before he gets out.
According to Junaid Safdar, the protester spit on him which led to the fight.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are due to board a plane for Pakistan where they face an imminent threat of getting arrested from the airport.
