Chaudhry Pervez Elahi Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader, has asked the government to construct Kalabagh dam, after expressing his sympathies with the flood affected victims.

With the construction of Dam, the rain water will be stored and floods will be avoided. He further said that the Dam ought to be constructed in order to overcome energy crises and store rain water.

Floods have caused a loss of $30 billion in the last four years, if the Kalabagh Dam was constructed this loss could have been avoided, he lamented.

Parvez Elahi said that the leaders have not done anything in order to control floods, which have killed and destroyed houses and farms in thousands and continues to kill and destroy.
