On behalf of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK), Eng. Shaukatullah Khan, a bouquet of flowers was placed on the tomb of Aitizaz Hassan, the 15 year old boy who got killed while stopping a suicide bomber from entering his school in Hangu. The bouquet was placed on the tomb by the political agent of Aurakzai Agency, Mahmud Islam, while the levy force saluted the tomb of this young martyr on this occasion.

Aitizaz Hassan received world wide acclaim for his heroic act of saving hundreds of lives of his school mates by sacrificing his own. He was going to his school when he was approached by an unusual person, dressed in his school uniform, and asked him for directions. Aitizaz got suspicious of him and started to confront him. First he threw some stones at him, but that wouldn’t stop the suicide bomber. As a lost resort, the brave boy grabbed the bomber and around this time the bomb went off.
