Many people think that money is at the root of evil. But I have a total denial with this fact because it is just a piece of paper with no voice so how can it be evil? It’s the use of it that makes it good or evil.

I believe money brings happiness to people. I have seen many cases in where money has played a key point in turning the lives of people towards betterment. It won’t be wrong to say that nothing but money has the power to make people smile.

Money is not god but it certainly has some qualities of god. It has the power to control whole world. Humans work hard, bear all difficulties, go through every spick and span of life and the end product is money.

The greed of money makes things evil. The selfishness to put one’s own happiness above all and go out of turn to try and amass money is what leads us towards evil.

It’s usually said that the lust of money makes humans beasts and makes them blind to all facts and emotions. Many family disputes occur and several murders happen just for the sake of money and property. But then again, everything has some negative and positive aspects and usually negativity dominate everything else. The same is true for money as well.

People usually have this belief that money has destroyed societies and mankind. I disagree because it’s not the money but the person who uses it. There are many rich people who efficiently use their money and also take care of the needy and poor. There are rich people who are doing a lot for their communities.

And let’s just say even if we get rid of all the money, I am sure human beings will find something else to use in order to get what they want? It’s the character and the attitude that encourages a man to do what he does with his money and not the other way round.

It’s thus a misconception that wickedness and immortality is caused by money and hence money is the root cause of all the evils. The truth is that all the wickedness and immorality is caused by people. Those who are blinded by their love of money. So those who think that money is a threat to happiness, are wrong. If we go to the lighter side of it, it is the strongest weapon to bring happiness in life.

In conclusion, we can say that lack of money can be the root of all evil. So stop blaming the things that we ourselves have given value to. We are a the problem, not money.
