Nawaz Sharif suspends election campaign amid Imran Khan incident

Nawaz Sharif while talking to a rally at Rawalpindi said that to show his solidarity with Imran Khan he was suspending all his election campaign the next day. Imran Khan had earlier fell from a lifter when he was being lifted to the stage. Some unnecessary movement on this lifter disrupted the balance and Imran Khan fell from the stage.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz called Imran Khan and inquired about his health. Also MQM chief, Altaf  Hussain called and showed his solidarity with him. Different other notable personalities also prayed for a better health to Imran khan which includes President Asif Ali Zardari, ANP chief Asfandiyar Wali, ECP chief Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim and many more.
