The family members of late Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden died in a private jet crash in southern England, Saudi Arabian ambassador to U.K. said.
“The embassy will follow up on the incident and its circumstances with the concerned British authorities and work on speeding up the handover of the bodies of the victims to the kingdom for prayer and burial,” the ambassador tweeted at the embassy’s official Twitter account.
A pilot and three passengers died when the jet crashed into a parking lot while trying to land at the airport in southern England on Friday afternoon. No one on the ground was hurt. The plane was flying from Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy, said British police.
