During the ceremony held for the celebrations of 14th august in Quetta, about 400 separatists surrendered themselves and promised not to fight against the state.
The Separatists who had come from the different areas of Balochistan put their weapons on a table which was decorated with a Pakistani flag and received a bouquet of flowers and a Pakistani flag in return from the children.
On the occasion, Lt-Gen. Muhammad Nasser Khan Janjua said, “Those surrendered and vowed to be peaceful and loyal to Pakistan, are our friends, brothers and Pakistanis.”
Over 700 Baloch rebels have surrendered during the last two months.
