Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed says he will file an application in Supreme Court on Monday calling for summoning of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for cross-examination. “The whole Shareef family has turned out to be thieves through the JIT investigation”, claimed Sheikh Rasheed.
The AML Chief said his petition in the Supreme Court was related to articles 62, 63 and not article 184 (3). PM Nawaz Sharif has been proven to have lied before the nation and thus he can not pass the requirements of articles 62, 63, he contended.
Sheikh Rasheed said the game was over for the Shareefs and claimed about 44 members of the ruling PMLN were ready to defect and form their own alliance.
“The Sharifs should read the writings on the wall and step aside in grace while they can”, he further said.
Regarding Monday’s proceedings of the Panama case in Supreme Court, Sheikh Rasheed said he would request the court to summon Nawaz Sharif in the court. “I will personally cross-examine Nawaz Sharif in court and call him out for all his lies”, said a determined Sheikh Rasheed.
