Pakistan Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed, while addressing PTI’s rally in Gujrat, warned India of dire consequences if it continued with its border violations and indiscriminate shelling over civilian areas. He said it would not be a war of days but a war that would finished in minutes, a reference to a nuclear war.
“No bird will chirp, and no bells will ring in Mandirs(Hindus place of worship) in India, if you even think of attacking Pakistan”, said Sheikh Rasheed.
Border tension between India and Pakistan has increased since Narendra Modi’s becoming a Prime Minister of India. Modi is known for his anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan stance.
About 40 civilians have been killed on Pakistani side due to indiscriminate shelling by Indian Border Security Force.
Prime Minister Modi has adapted an aggressive stance towards Pakistan. His aggressive speeches have threatened the already fragile peace process between the two neighboring nuclear states.
