Years of crying out for justice has resulted in nothing but has reinforced a feeling that it has been a futile effort, as good as barking at the moon. Our entire suprastructure has been held hijacked by black sheeps of various kinds, with some exceptions, however. I, standing 1st in my district Jacobabad, with 91% have been denied legal and moral right to employment as a P.S.T (Primary School Teacher) for vacancies filled through NTS. The rest of candidates/my peers who lagged far behind me on the merit list have been going on duties and drawing salaries since long.

What could be the reason behind such an assassination of merit? Simple! Zamir Khoso, Senior Program Manager (Teacher’s Recruitment), RSU (Reform Support Unit), who according to one of his subordinates, is the most corrupt, unscrupulous and conscienceless person in history, with not a single tinge of personal integrity and scruples. He has reciprocated a person named Kashif Umar Ansari, standing quite far behind me on the merit list in return of some lacs.

Zamir Khoso, bypassing rules and merit, not only inducted Kashif Umar in place, but illegally issued offer order as well as appointment letter, to the utter surprise of D.E.O Jacobabad and high ups of Education and Literacy Department Sindh. The DRC (Distirct Recruitment Committee) had originally recommended me to be employed as a P.S.T in Union Council Thul-II quota.

As the saying goes that not all fingers are equal; Their Honors, Fazulallah Pechuho, Secretary ELD Sindh, Madam Saba Mehmood, Chief Program Manager R.S.U & Madam Aalia Shahid, Special Secretary ELD Sindh, when spotlighted to this crude violation, took immediate action, constituting a committee for enquiry, wherein I was also summoned along with Zamir Khoso and other persons concerned.

Madam Saba Mehmood very patiently and impartially, scrutinized the case and was badly shocked as to how a person, not deserving and eligible, by any definition of words, has been appointed through their doors. Zamir Khoso realizing that cat was out of the bag started losing his sense, terrorizing, babbling and sweating in A.C. room, totally unable to respond to the questions put by Madam Saba Mehmood.

Amid such black sheeps and sold out officials like Zamir Khoso, the presence of Madam Saba Mehmood and Madam Aalia, is no less than water in an arid desert. I do have a full-fledged belief in their ability, integrity and administrative handling, with which they are going to handle this case, putting an end to the illegalities of Zamir Khoso and all those involved.
