The Ludicrous Silence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Imran Questions Nawaz Sharif Silence over LoC Tension

It is said that a ruler not only rules the country but rules the nation’s heart. According to John C. Maxwell “a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”. However, in our country we have a different system, our rules make fun of their people’s desires after taking vote. Forget about ruling the nation’s heart.

It is our misfortune that after Quaid-e-Azam we could not get sincere leadership for our country. We can take many examples from our pitiable history which shows that our leaders have only been adept in one thing which is, ruling to further own lust of power.

Even after seven decades, we do not seem to have learned any lesson from our history. We still elect those leaders who are steeped in enormous corruption. If not corruption, their priorities do include taking measures to better the lives of their people. Similarly, the priorities of present Prime Minister of Pakistan also do not show that Pakistan and its people come first for him. However, his actions does show that business comes first for him.

Our literacy rates is lower than India and Bangladesh. Our hospitals, schools are becoming more and more pitiable. Due to our bad economic condition, inflation has raised. However, our PM is still silent because he knows the stratagem of making the nation fool and as always we prove that we are witless nation who cannot decide what is right and wrong for us.

A leader is one who stands united with the nation in every difficult situation. He leads from the front. A wise person said “a leader is a dealer in a hope”. However, our PM always runs when he was needed the most. He could not speak a single word against Indian government when their army were attacking our army on LOC but he did send mangoes to Indian Prime minister for this attack.

He could not speak a single word for our integrity when RAW agent was caught by our intelligence agencies. He remained silent. Dear Prime Minister, the question is, what is the main reason of this vicious silence? Why can you not speak for your nation on national and international level? The whole nation believed in you when they voted you into prime minister house for the third time but you are doing chicanery with those who trusted you.

O Mr. Prime Minister, the nation is looking for you. It is looking for a leader who will stand for them, who will protect them and who will represent them. We have not failed you, but you have failed us.
